A boreal species, dark and shiny and robust. Males have swollen first
legs; females have orangish legs.

Identification
The robust shiny body and northerly distribution are distinctive. The female epigynum resembles that of Habronattus; the palp is similar to that of Evarcha.Compare to:
Habitat
Ground-dwelling in boreal areas. Known from leaf litter and marshes.
